Donald Keith Hamrick Sr.,85, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born July 10, 1933 in Elkins, WV a son of the late Wesley Gay Hamrick and Hester Wamsley Hamrick. He is survived by his loving wife Martha Virginia Lee Hamrick.

Donald was a 1951 graduate of Tygarts Valley High School and served in the United States Army. He was a retired machinist from the Philips Corporation of Fairmont, WV. Mr. Hamrick was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church, the Fairmont Lodge No. 9 A.F. & A.M. and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 34 of Fairmont, WV. He was also a former member of the Osiris Shrine Center, Upper Mon Valley Shrine Club and local Clown Unit.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his son Donald Keith Hamrick Jr. of Fairmont, WV, and his daughter Sheila Denise Jones of Fairmont, WV, a brother and his wife Clifford & Eleanor Hamrick of Mill Creek, WV, four grandchildren Carrie Harvey, Donald Keith Hamrick III & his wife Carrie Hamrick, Melissa Hamrick & Jesse Gober and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Melvin and Leonard Hamrick and his sister Mary Frances Hite.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. There will be no public visitation or funeral service. A public committal service will be held in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens, Old Rt. 219 - Parsons Road, Elkins, WV 26241 (304-636-4619) on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Hall officiating. Full Military Funeral Honors will be conducted in the cemetery followed by Masonic Ritualistic Services conducted by Fairmont Lodge No. 9 A.F. & A.M.
