She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Steve Isbell) Juergens, former daughter-in-law Janice Gorline, and her grandsons, Craig and Kevin Juergens.
Jerry loved dancing at the Casa Loma Ballroom, and fishing at Bennett Springs State Park. She loved watching horror movies, Latin music, Michael Buble, Herb Alpert, Elvis, and the Everly Brothers. Her favorite dessert was chocolate covered strawberries, and she enjoyed cooking and having something for dessert, every evening. Her son, Joe, would always ask “What’s for D tonight?” Jerry was very regimented, and didn’t like to stray from her daily routine. She had quite the collection of shoes and handbags, designed by her first husband. She just so happened to wear the sample size, so she received all the sample shoes. Jerry’s favorite expression was “Oh Crap” and she said it often. Above all, Jerry was a devoted wife and mother, who was always concerned about others before herself. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held Thursday, April 25th, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at, HUTCHENS MORTUARY, 675 Graham Road, Florissant, Missouri, 63031. Burial to immediately follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Florissant, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry’s honor may be made to the Humane Society of Saint Louis, 1201 Macklind Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63110.
