Funeral of Mrs E.K Bradley.
The funeral took place on Tuesday at Ash Churchyard, of Mrs Emily Kate Bradley, whose death occured on Saturday, aged 59 years. She was the widow of Mr Reginald Bradley, who died in May 1907. The Rev C Magraw, assisted by Mr C.M Makey L.R officiated. The service was choral, Mrs A Holman presiding at the organ and playing "Oh rest in the Lord," and "Blest are the departed." The hymns were "Abide with me," and "How bright these gloroius spirits shine." The grave was lined with evergreens interspersed with chrysanthemums.
The mourners present were; Mr R Bradley and Mr A Bradley (sons), Mr W Dennett and Mr A Dennett (brothers), Mrs C Horn and Mrs F Court (sisters), Mr F Court and Mr A.V Elgar (brothers in law), Mrs W Dennett, Mrs A Dennett and Mrs A.V Elgar (sisters in law), Mr W Horn, Mr W Dennett and Mr P.H Holden (nephews), Mrs P.H Ho'den and Miss M Dennett (nieces), Mr and Mrs W.T Graves, Mrs Nicholson, Mr F Nicholson, Mr and Mrs A.G Saunders, Mr R Baker, Mrs E Sackett, Mrs J Horton, Mr V Horton, Mrs and Miss Horton, Mr and Mrs Fuller, Mr J Hogbin, Dr N MacCall Smith, Mrs F Hills, Mrs R.E and Miss Markwick, Mrs E Pittock, Mr A.S Chandler, Mrs G.S Dunn, Mr L Foat, Miss Inge, Mrs R Andrews, Mr A Glynn, Mrs E.G Drake and Mr F Drake.
