Martha Ann Jones-Greene of Forest Oak Lane transitioned Thursday, November 8, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents Naomi Minggia and Grady Minggia and her son Gerald Jones.

She retired from Gwaltney of Portsmouth in 2010 after 33 years of faithful and dedicated service. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kevin Greene; daughter, Cindy Wingo (Reginald) of Stafford, VA; two sons, Melvin Jones, Jr (Laticia), Terry Jones (Martha); step daughter, Anika Simone Greene, sister, Vanessa Hamlin (Lee); six brothers, Grady Minggia Jr. (Ann), Isaac Minggia, Larry Minggia (Angela), Roy Minggia, Anthony Minggia, and Timothy Minggia (Dianne); 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; an uncle; six aunts; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held noon, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Larry Parker will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in the Crocker Funeral Home section of Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
