June Lorraine Bundy, age 81, passed away January 8, 2004, in St. George, Ut. She was born December 25, 1922, in Declo, Idaho, to Wayne Hunting and Tressa Lorraine Tolman. She married Chester LaMar Bundy in Las Vegas, Nevada, August 29, 1946. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple where they were sealed as a family.
She was a faithful and devoted member of the LDS Church where she has served as Ward Librarian for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting blessing her family with her handiwork. She has been involved in Genealogy and Family History. She compiled scrapbooks for all of her children and grandchildren which are a treasure to all.
She is survived by her children: Bryce C. of St. George, UT, Larry L. (Jolene) of St. George UT, Douglas D. (Barbara) of Mesquite, NV, Roger M. (Cindy) of Washington, UT, Kevan L. (Lora) of St. George, UT, Lorraine (Steve) Gray of San Ramon, CA, 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother Burl Hunting, sisters: Joy Grimm, and Belva Gardner. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and grandsons: Ken V. Bundy and Kelly Bundy.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2004, at 11:00 am at the St. George LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, 166 S. Main St. St. George, UT. Visitations will be held on Sunday evening, January 11, 2004, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Metcalf Mortuary, 300 W. St. George Blvd. and at the LDS 2nd Ward Chapel from 9:30 am to 10:40 am prior to service. Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery, under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221.
