Mrs. Green, daughter of Willie and Bernice King Green, was born in Ferriday and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She was a member of the Sixth Street Church of God in Christ and a US Navy Veteran having served from December 5, 1990 to April 22, 1994. She received an honorable discharge from the military.
Her survivors are: her loving daughter, Courtney Green; four sisters, Faye King and Florida Miller all of Ferriday; Cynthia Green of Lake Charles, LA; Linda Mazique of Natchez; five brothers, Larry Green and Kitress Williams of Ferriday; Earl Green of Orlando, FL; Henry Oliver Green and his wife, Amanda of California; Ronnie Elmore and his wife Sharon of Natchez. Also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Green is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Green and Rufus Elmore.
