Tracy Estes Johnson, 46, of Jacksonville passed away on April 21, 2019 at 4:14 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born on May 30, 1972 in Springfield to John Johnson and Grace (Ash) Gilmore.
Tracy is survived by his mother; stepfather, John Gilmore Sr.; sister, Kerry Schramm; step-sister, Kortney Gilmore; step-brother, John Gilmore, Jr.; aunt Kimberly Ash Larson, who was raised like a sister; four nephews, Baily, Braden, Karter and Kaden; great-nephew, Bentley and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Tracy was of the Baptist faith. He worked at Elm City Center. He loved his family. He loved his people, especially his teachers and co-workers, country music, and shopping at Dollar Tree, which was his favorite store. He liked to fish with his mom and Biggest Big John and enjoyed visiting them at home and talking to them on the phone.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Kilbourne Cemetery. Aaron Blakely will officiate.
Memorial donations can be left in Tracy’s name to Elm City Center in Jacksonville.
