Bobbie was born in McKinney, Texas on October 15, 1931 to her loving parents, Frank and Jennie Barrow. She was the last survivor of 12 children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Douglas Inman Parks; son Howard D. Parks; daughter, Jennie L. Elsass; son-in-law Kenneth Tucker; granddaughter, Michelle Tucker; daughter-in-law Cheryl Parks and great-grandsons Reed and Ryder Wilson.
Bobbie married Douglas Parks on August 14, 1948. The first of 7 children were born in 1949 and the last in 1966. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a homemaker, that traveled with her husband and children raising them while they traveled from city to city while Doug raised water towers.
She is survived by her five children, William Parks and wife Barbara, Robert Parks and wife Jan, Jack Parks and wife Sheila, Bobby Parks and wife Cindy and Carolyn Tucker. She had 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Parks, Trace Parks, Jeff Parks, Aaron Parks, Nathan Parks and Bobby Parks. Honorary pallbearers are Nick Jones, Brett Parks, Clay Parks, Wyatt Parks and Ryan Elsass.
Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
