He worked at Allied Roofing for many years before moving to Crescent, where he worked in the oilfield and retired in 1999 from MerCruiser. Patrick's favorite pastime was watching old western movies and enjoyed all kinds of music, especially the classic rock music he grew up listening to. Patrick took a special interest in the lives of his children, always attending games and events. Patrick adored spending time with his grandchildren, both eating sweet treats and watching cartoons. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and any outdoor activities. Patrick was diagnosed in 1995 with Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, a rare lung deficiency, but never let his condition stop him from doing what he loved with the people that meant the most to him. Patrick was a Christian and was comforted in the fact that he would one day be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. E. and Susan Coleman, two brothers, Glendon and Donald, Mother of their children, La Teresa and one son, Chad.
Patrick leaves behind his two children and their families- Jeffrey and Mandi Coleman, their daughter Cate (3) of Crescent, Allison & Dakota Little, their sons Easton (6) and Grayson (2) of Shawnee, one brother, David and Rosene Coleman of Oklahoma City, one sister, Barbara and John Minter of Tulsa, many other relatives and friends.
