Helen McGee Voorhees Gamel, 85, of Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, died Wednesday of cardiopulmonary arrest in St. Clair Memorial Hospital. She was a past regent of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a past state president and past national treasurer of the National Society of U. S. Daughters of 1812. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of the American Pioneers, Daughters of the Colonial Wars, the Huguenot Society of Pennsylvania, the Tuesday Musical Society and the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a brother, Herbert McGee of Bellevue. Friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Beinhauer Mortuary, 2630 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park in McCandless.
