Spencer Randall Johnson passed away peacefully in the environment which he loved on Thursday, April 18, 2019. We take comfort in knowing he was welcomed with open arms by his loving grandparents, Steele R. Lunt and Patricia B. Lunt.

Spencer was born June 6, 1992 to his mother, Susan L. Johnson, and his father, Randall K. Johnson, and welcomed by his older sister, Meagan. A few years later, his younger siblings, Mitchell and Candice, joined the family. Spencer grew up in a loving household with a strong family support and an unimaginable bond with his siblings.

His passion throughout the years has been basketball, whether it was playing for hours with his brother, Mitchell, or rooting for the Utah Jazz. Along with having an incredible relationship with his family, Spencer was blessed with strong and lasting friendships that he valued very deeply. Spencer graduated from Alta High School in 2010. From there, he found his passion for modifying and fixing up cars. He loved cruising through the canyons — where he admired nature and felt the most at peace.

Spencer met the love of his life, Shyanne Sorensen, at the young age of nineteen. Over the years, they built a one-of-a-kind bond filled with trust, love, and so much happiness. In August of 2017, Shyanne and Spencer got married in paradise. Their relationship was beautiful and they took life by storm; taking challenges head on and celebrating triumphs together. In the seven years they spent together being inseparable, they took every opportunity to build and strengthen their bond and make each moment together precious and memorable. They had a powerful love and connection.

Spencer strived to become the best at anything he put his mind to whether that was his job, hobbies, relationships, and goals. He will be remembered for his fearless attitude to have his own opinion about religion and political points of view. He was very intelligent, prideful, and has touched many lives with his unique and caring personality. Not only was he goal oriented, he had a strong drive to succeed and accomplish anything he set his mind to. Spencer had so much love and a special place in his heart for his beautiful fur babies, Zurg, Daisy, and Rufus.

We would also like to thank his amazing friends at Progrexion/Lexington Law Firm. Spencer established many friendships and was highly respected and admired by his peers. He was a top performer in a company that is nationwide.

Spencer is survived by his wife, Shyanne Johnson; parents, Randall K. and Susan L. Johnson; siblings, Meagan Clark (Andrew), Mitchell, and Candice; niece, Ali Clark; grandparents, K.L. Johnson and W. Joyce Johnson; grandmother, Judy Mann; mother in-law, Sharon Mann Sorensen; father in-law, Bryan Sorensen; brother in-law, Levi Sorensen; and fur babies, Zurg, Daisy, and Rufus; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who all loved and admired him. Spencer is preceded in death by his grandparents, Steele R. Lunt and Patricia B. Lunt.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary-Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South, Riverton.
