Obituary for Alice Gordon Nute
Alice G. Nute, 89, formerly of Nashua, died peacefully at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Miss Nute was born in Nashua on September 26, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Gardner) Nute.
She had worked as a manager for Lady Grace for over 22 years before retiring in 1996. After retiring, Alice kept busy with quilting, painting and travel.
Miss Nute was a lifelong member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Nashua.
She was a graduate of Nashua High School. Following her graduation, she had attended hairdressing school and worked as a hairdresser for many years.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her twin brother, Alan Nute and her sister Marion Fancy.
She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Colburn of Nashua and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A Graveside Funeral Service will be held in East Cemetery, Wheeler Rd., Hollis on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow at 159 E. Dunstable Rd., Nashua.
