Terry Dean “TP” Potts passed away at his home in Hulbert, OK on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the age of 63. Terry was born on July 4, 1955 to John Clayton and Genevieve (Stevens) Potts.

Terry was raised in the Lost City area and attended Lost City School and Hulbert Public School. He held various jobs as a construction worker, framed houses and was also a shell diver.

Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved finding arrowheads along the creek banks and enjoyed watching a good western on TV. TP was often heard talking about old times, always making the stories he shared entertaining and interesting. Terry never went anywhere without his beloved dogs, Odie and Lance, his faithful companions.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; and siblings, Thomas Potts, Burley Potts, Gerald Potts, Dwaine Potts, Phil Potts, Audra Coles, and Sue Comer.

Terry is survived by his brothers, Jack Potts and wife Anita of Peggs, OK; Brady Potts of Beggs, OK; a sister, Wilma Kay Henson and partner Leslie Gourd of Hulbert, OK; and great nephew, Ray Potts and wife Toni of Hulbert, OK; as well as many other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Lost City Cemetery, Hulbert, OK at 10am Friday, April 19, 2019 with Jerry Henson officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Hayes, Gary McNeil, T.J. McNeil, Randy Johnson, Damon Ballou, and Trenton Justice.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates contributions towards the funeral arrangements.
