September 15, 1935 ~ April 20, 2019 (age 83) David D. Hampton, age 83 passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on Sunday, September 15, 1935 in the Little Goose Community of Manchester to James and Ranie Back Hampton.
He is survived by his wife Ruby Hampton, his son: Marty Hampton, his daughter: Michelle Ann Bright, 4 grandsons, 3 great grandsons and one brother: Henry Clay Hampton.
He is preceded in death by his parents: James and Ranie Hampton, his son: Phillip Barry Hampton, his brothers: Burnette Hampton, Robert Hampton, Otis Hampton, Alan Hampton, Wayne Hampton, Steve Hampton and Albert Hampton and his sisters: Tina, Effie, Topsy and Maxine.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Kentucky Mountain Missions, Salvation Army or the Darke County Cancer Society of Ohio.
Visitation for David D. Hampton will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 5:30 PM until 7 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
He will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
