Dr. Jeffrey B. Landers
Dr. Jeffrey B. "Jack" Landers Jr., 49 of 5109 Tawney, died Tuesday in Denver Colo.

Services will be at 4 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. James R. Carroll, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors.

A native of Amarillo, Dr. Landers was a graduate of Amarillo Hight. He attended New Mexico Military Institute, West Texas State University and Baylor College of Denistry.

He married Elaine Nelson in 1952.

Dr. Landers was active in several professional and civic organizations. He was a 25-year member of Amarillo Rotary Club and former director of the group. He was also past president of Panhandle District Dental Society, past president of Potter-Randall Dental Society and president of the Academy of General Dentistry.

He was a member of Amarillo Lodge 731 AF & AM, Amarillo Chapter 196 Royal Arch Masons, Amarillo Commandery 48 Knights Templar and Khiva Temple of the Shrine.

Dr. Landers was also a member of First Presbyterian Church and Tascosa Country Club. He was past president of Amarillo Junior Chamber of Commerce, past president of Amarillo Civic Bowling League and secretary-treasurer of the Science Fair.

Survivros include the widow, three duaghters, Mrs. Bob Bridges, Mrs. Tom Wilson and Miss Becky Landers, all of Amarillo; and his father, Dr. J. B. Landers Sr. of Amarillo.

The family requests memorials be to the Leukemia Research Foundation, in care of Dr. William Block, University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver.
