Born January 13, 1921, in York Springs, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Grace Myers Rickrode and was the wife of 48 years to Eldon L. Baker, who died in 1989.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Rickrode.
Mrs. Baker was a 1939 graduate of New Oxford High School and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey S. Baker, and his wife, Cheryl, of Brooklyn Park, Md.; three sisters, Gayle E. Smith, Jane Myers, and Lucille E. Kopp, all of Hanover; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rest Haven Cemetery with The Rev. Peg Grzelkowski officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
