Mary E. Rosenberger, 73, of Newark Valley, passed away on February 9, 2019.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Dorothy Gilbert; brother Leonard Gilbert; and sisters Etta Holcomb and Fanny Clark.

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years; John Rosenberger; and daughters Jasmine (Matthew Pender) Rosenberger, Lisa Loveland, Etta (Thomas) Swindler, and Terry Murry; sister Jenny Falge; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

When Mary and John were first married, she enjoyed her work in the monks fields near Oswego. She was then employed by Endicott Johnson for over 25 years. Later in life, Mary could be found working alongside John on the heavy equipment. She loved the Finger Lakes area, and enjoyed traveling to the lakes and spending time on the water. Her dogs were a joy in her life, and she had a special bond with Barney. Above all else, Mary valued her role as a mom and loved her children. Everyone who met Mary knew that she was a truly caring person with a heart of gold. Her lively spirit and fun personality will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to a period of visitation at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, on Saturday, February 16th from 11 to 1 o'clock. A celebration of her life will directly follow. Memories and condolences may be written in Mary's guestbook at macphersonfh.com.
