Katherine M. (Horn) Wood, 77, of Sullivan, Illinois, passed away May 12, 2018.

Kathy was born August 7, 1940, in San Jose, California, the daughter of Hermann L. and Alice E. Horn. She graduated from Sunnyvale High School in 1958. She attended the University of Idaho, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, and where she met her husband, Steve Wood. They were married June 16, 1962 in Sunnyvale, California.

She served as the secretary of the Elizabeth Titus Memorial Library Board, and was an active board member for many years. She was a girl scout and cub scout leader in Sullivan for several years, and was a homemaker.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Steven K. Wood; her children, Michael Wood of Camdenton, Missouri and Leslie Wood (John Dowdy) of Glen Carbon, Illinois, and her grandchildren, Erin and Olivia Dowdy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
