Mr. Barnett passed from this life on February 26, 2019, at his home in Henderson.
He was born June 17, 1945, in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Woodrow and Mildred (Derryberry) Barnett.
Tom was raised in Henderson and graduated from Henderson High School and Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches.
He later moved back home in 2005 where he would later join First Baptist Church.
He was a man of great character and work ethic, which was exemplified over his long career as a Drilling Fluids Engineer with Halliburton, a career that took him all over the world.
In his spare time Tom enjoyed fishing and playing 42, dominos and poker, and he was a huge sports fan. He could recall scores from years past that most couldn't remember.
Tom loved to make people smile and was an endless encourager.
