Willie Frances Tuck Franklin, 92, of Henderson, N.C., passed away on April 19, 2019. She was born on April 1, 1927, in Chase City, to Baker Powell Tuck and Juanita Ray Tuck. She was also predeceased by her husband, William Barber Franklin. Willie spent most of her life in Danville and was the last of her generation. She worked at Health Tex and was a member of Dayspring Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Melvin C. Franklin (Patsy) and Michael W. Franklin (Ann); daughters, Barbara Ann Hines and Jean Williams (Mike); ten grandchildren. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
