Pauline Wood Walker, 94, of Scott Depot, WV, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

She was born in St. Albans to the late Walter E. and Omazell Griffith Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur H. Walker; sisters, Dollie Gillenwater, Gladys Wood and Eva Mae Wood; brothers, Paul, Howard and Harold Wood.

Pauline was retired from McClung and Morgan Department Store, St. Albans. A former employee of Kelley Dyer Department Store and was also a manager at the Dime Store, both in St. Albans. She was a member of the Beechwood Estates Garden Club.

Surviving are her brother, Harry Wood of St. Albans; niece, Barbara Stamper of Charleston; nephews, Jack (Billie) Wood of Cross Lanes and Kenneth (Judy) Gillenwater of St. Albans.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Bartlett - Nichols Funeral Home, St. Albans, with the Rev. Jim Hill officiating. Burial will be in Wood Cemetery, Vorpe Road, St. Albans.

Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
