James Ray McMahan, age 61, of Pigeon Forge, died Wednesday, November 17, 2004.

He was a 1962 graduate of Sevier County High School and an Army veteran who served in Vietnam 1967-1968. He was owner of McMahan's Garage and Wrecker Service and a longtime member of the Pigeon Forge Volunteer Fire Department.

Mr. McMahan was preceded in death by his son Derek Ray McMahan, parents Curtis Fitzhugh and Pauline McMahan, and grandparents James Bates and Mary Alice Hatcher.

Survivors:
Children: Ashley McMahan ("Daddy's little girl"), Anissa Collier and Jason Simms
Sisters: Barbara Warpool, Faye Holbert and husband Steve
Nephew and nieces: James Warpool, Debbie Redding and Patti Warpool

Funeral service 2 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Maples officiating. Interment will follow in Little Cove Cemetery. Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 104. The family will receive friends 5-9 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
