Died of Congestion of Lungs.
Monday morning at 2 o'clock, J.P. Buster, a well known attorney of this city, died of heart failure caused by congestion of the lungs. The remains were interred in the city cemetery Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. E. Sawders, of the M. E. Church, South, conducted services. Mr. Buster had been in bad health several years, but at the time of his demise had been sick only a few days. He came to Tahlequah about seven years ago from Clarksville, Ark., and began the practice of his profession, the law, and immediately built up a lucrative practice. He served as a member of the city council for a term, was president of the local bar association and city attorney at the time of his death. He was forty years of age and leaves a wife and eight children, all girls, to mourn his departure, and who have the sympathy of the community.
