Peggy June (Russell) Davidson, 85, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Davidson was born on June 18, 1933, in Gravette, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Violet and Andrew Jackson Russell. She was a graduate of Gravette High School and Lord Fairfax Community College receiving an Associate’s Degree in Business. She was a Real Estate Agent in Winchester, Virginia, retiring after 20 years of service. Mrs. Davidson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winchester.

She married Marion Charles Davidson on April 28, 1951, in Denver Colorado. He preceded her in death in October of 1991.

Surviving are her children, Karen Davidson Spurrier (Arthur Dane) of Charles Town, West Virginia, Donna L. Davidson of Deland, Florida, Gary D. Davidson (Kathy) of Lowell, Arkansas, and Janet E. Davidson of Stephens City, Virginia; grandchildren, Jonathan Sham Spurrier (Rachel) of Gerrardstown, West Virginia, Jeremy Alan Spurrier (Bethany) of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Shannon Dawn Spurrier Dunnegan (Sean) of Gerrardstown, West Virginia, Timothy Paul Campbell of Atlanta, Georgia, Michael Lyn Campbell of Cold Spring, Kentucky, Tierra Grace Davidson of Cartersville, GA, Shawn Douglas Davidson (Elizabeth) of Plano, Texas, Hannah Brooke Mock (Kyle) of Dallas, Texas, Maxwell “Max” Christopher Davidson and Gabrielle Nicole “Gabby” Davidson both of Lowell, Arkansas; great grandchildren, Sheyla Karen Dunnegan, Tyleah Grace Dunnegan, Beretta Starling Spurrier, Magnolia “Maggie” Ronin Spurrier, Novena “Novie” Helen Spurrier, Alexis Lynn Campbell and Keegan Michael Campbell; and sisters, Shirley Russell Matlock of Rogers, Arkansas and Linda L. Nelson (Mike) of Orlando, Florida.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Wayne Russell.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Pastor Jonathan Spurrier and Pastor Mike Blitch officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Gravette, Arkansas.
