It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Frank Allen Riley, 87 on 4-11-19, due to natural causes. Frank was a loving husband, devoted father and entrusted friend to many. He was a decorated war veteran serving in the Korean conflict. Following his military service, he worked as an air traffic controller for 36 years.

Born on 2-7-32 in Munday, TX to Herbert & Inez Riley, Frank spent his formative years in Canton, and his adulthood in Dallas. In 1977 Frank married the love of his life and soul mate, Jerry Horton Downing, and they spent 42 wonderful years together.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, sister LaVerne Davis and brother Horace Riley. He is survived by his loving wife, Jerry Ann, their children, Scott Riley and wife Erin, Kyle Downing and wife Diane, Ty Downing and wife Bunny, and Elizabeth Frank and husband Eric, along with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private service will be held for the family at DFW National Cemetery.
