Marilyn Shaw Powell age 66, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend was reunited with her sweetheart on January 15, 2018. Born February 18,1951 to Ferris Labrum and Elaine Thorup Nielsen Shaw. Married Donald Calvin Powell in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on July 23, 1971. Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Marilyn's greatest joy was her family. Survived by her children: Analane, Tiffany Gonzalez (Abner), Shawn (Amanda), Megan Astle (Trever), Janilyn Featherstone (Darin), Braydon (Sarah) , Shannon Stokes (Dennis) and 23 grandchildren. Preceding her in death: parents, husband Don, son Donald Chad, grandchildren Jaxon Astle, Cailey Gonzalez, Sunny Faith Powell.
Services will be held at the Springville Heritage Church 235 East 550 North in Springville on Saturday, January 20, 2018. A viewing begins at 9 am and the service Celebrating her life beginning at 10 am. A viewing will be held Friday evening at 5 pm at the Springville Wheeler Mortuary 211 East 200 South. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery
