Billie Jean (Cooper) Gregory was born on February 17, 1932 to John and Maude Cooper in Whitehouse, Texas. She met her great love and husband of 50 years, Billy Wayne Gregory, in Whitehouse. Together, they loved and parented four children, Beverly (Thurman), Linda (Baker), Scotty, and Barbara (Collins). As a family, the overcame hardships, celebrated marriages and accomplishments, and suffered loss. They attended the First Assembly of God in Bullard, Texas where they served their Lord faithfully.
On April 17, 2019, Mrs. Gregory went to rest with her husband, her daughter Barbara, her grandson Lee David, two great-granddaughters, BJ and Karen, and 15 siblings. Her four children blessed her with nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren; she was surrounded by family that loved and adored her. As is common with large families, she had dozens of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services for Jean will be held on Saturday, April 20th, at 10:00am at Bullard City Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service to begin at 9:30am - at the Bullard City Cemetery. Mrs. Gregory will rest next to her husband and in the company of her daughter, grandson, and great-granddaughters.
