She was born to Lee and Ruth (Fee) Fannon. On Jan. 10, 1941, she married Godlieb Hecht, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Larry (Sue), New Knoxville, Richard and Mick (Betty), all St. Marys; three daughters, Ruth (Maurice) Herron, New Weston, Diana (John) Powell, North Port, FL, and Terri Cable, St. Marys; three brothers, Chuck (Martha), St. Marys, Everett, Rockford, and Fred, South Dakota; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Ronnie and Jerry; and a daughter, Janet Wietholter.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress at the former Villa Cerise Restaurant in St. Marys. She was a member of St. Marys Church of God, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 9289 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 323, all of St. Marys, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Lodge 691, Wapakoneta.
