Kinston - Edgar Alegria Abrego, 20, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 11am in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7:30pm at the funeral home.
Edgar was a lifelong resident of Kinston and was a 2017 graduate of South Lenoir High School. He worked as a manager and chef at Upper Crust and La Flama restaurants in Snow Hill. He enjoyed playing sports, especially football and volleyball.
He is survived by his parents, Edwardo and Edith Abrego; brothers, Edwardo Abergo, Jr. and Jose Emmanuel Abergo; sister, Lizwendy Abrego; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
