Bernard "Moose" Kaiser, age 86, of Newport, Michigan passed away
at 11:45am, Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Mercy Memorial Hospital. He
had been in declining health for some time.
Bernard was born on April 27, 1921 to the union of the late Joseph and
Frances Kaiser. He married Juanita Pullum on December 24, 1969 in
Newport, Michigan. His wife of thirty-eight years, Juanita, passed
away on March 14, 2008.

Bernard worked at the Chrysler, Trenton Engine Plant for thirty-two years.
He worked as a Hydraulic Repairman in skilled trades. Bernard
retired in 1982 after more than thirty-two years of service. He
was a member of the Union Local in Trenton

Bernard enjoyed hunting especially deer and fishing. He enjoyed family
trips to the cabin in Lewiston. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons: Bernard C. "Butch"Kaiser of Howell and Brian and Brenda Kaiser of Newport; a daughter: Sharon Thorn and Ron Lifort of Newport; and a step-daughter: Linda Altis of Livonia; nine grandchildren; and fifteen greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by six siblings and his
parents.
No public services have been set. Cremation has taken place through
Southern Michigan Services, Livonia. Private placement of the
cremains will take place in Lewiston. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442
North Monroe Street, Frenchtown Township, (734) 384-5185 was
entrusted with his arrangements.
