Arthur Joseph Tucker, 70, Cady Hill, died early Thursday morning at Saratoga Hospital. He had been employed as a chauffeur at the Independent Coal Co. for 35 years and was custodian at City Hall for seven years. He retired in 1959. He is survived by his wife, the former Esther Grant; a daughter, Joan A. Tucker; a son, Frederick Tucker, Rochester; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Charles M. Ballou, Saratoga Springs; two brothers, Claude B. Tucker, West Glens Falls, and Dudley (Pete) Tucker, Saratoga Springs, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Bussing Funeral Home. The Rev. W. Benjamin Holmes, rector of Bethesda Episcopal Church, will officiate. Interment will be in North Milton Cemetery.
