He was the son of the late James W. “Bulldog” and Helen (Nichols) Foster and was preceded in death by his brothers, J. W. Foster and Robert Allen Foster.
Steve was a former constable for Jefferson Co. and was owner operator of the Steve’s Auto Salvage and Wrecker Service.
He is survived by his wife, Vondle (Phillips) Foster; children, Stephanie Foster, Scott (Brittany) Foster, James Wesley (Paige) Foster and Christy Foster; brothers, Ronnie and John Foster; sister, Darlene (Drew) York; several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2019, 7:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel (Dandridge) with Bro. Greg Snyder and Bro. Charlie Blake officiating. Interment graveside services will be Saturday, 11:00 am at Cate Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
