Raymond R. "Dobbs" Goodman, 80, passed away November 4, 2011. Ray was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1949. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a Surgical Technician during the Korean War. Ray had been employed by The Blade, Sears and the U.S. Postal Service. He went on to own and operate Dobb's Carryout in Perrysburg and he retired in 1996 from Embassy Estates in Maumee. Some of his favorite activities were socializing, reading, fishing and golf. Ray was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Catholic War Veterans, Przybylski American Legion Post #642, the Alliance of Poles Circle 8, Moose Lodge #713, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Elks Lodge BPOE# 1850. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Agnes and son Matthew. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Monica, Mark, Martin, Monte and Michelle; and 7 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Friday November 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements by the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home.
