Bill Murray James was born the son of Hal and Mamie Gregg James. He was a retired electrician and a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Local # 59 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Dallas.

Survivors include a son, Murray D. James of Forum; a daughter, Jona L. James of Huntsville; two brothers, Joe James of Everett, Wash., and O. Z. James of Midwest City, Okla.; a sister, Vonda L. Thomas of Portland, Ore.; and one grandchild.
