George was a son of the late George Edward and Thelma Irene Hinchman Holley and the husband of Alma Loumedia Chapman Holley, whom he leaves behind. He was preceded in death by a son, Glen Edward Holley.

He is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws; Dreama and Bob Flinchum of Huntington and Jeannie Mangus of Westchester, OH., four grandchildren; Paul Flinchum and his wife, Shannon of Huntington, Tamara Griggs and her husband, Paul of Haines City, FL, Mandy Igo and her husband, Rick of Hamilton, OH, and Jim Mangus and his wife, Candice of Fairfield, OH, five great-grandchildren; Victoria Flinchum, Courtney and Gage Griggs, Ellie Harshbarger, and Ethan Igo.

George was a retired master electrician with Pritchard Electric and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 317 for 60 years. He was a graduate of Huntington East High School. He was a member of Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church and was one of the former owners of the Ashton Riverview Campground.
