Anna was born on November 1, 1937 in Taylor Ridge, a daughter of Allen and Erma Fix Baker. She married Lyle LaVerne Schmidt on September 2, 1956 in Edgington. He died October 28, 2003.
Anna was a homemaker the majority of her life. She spent several of her later years working at Rockridge High School. She was a lifelong member of the Edgington Evangelical Presbyterian Church and a past deacon.
Prior to Lyle's passing, Anna and Lyle were your typical snowbirds who spent their time in Texas and enjoyed golfing together. Anna also enjoyed lunch and shopping trips with "the girls." S
he loved cooking and being a mother and grandmother. She had a huge heart and cared about everyone. Survivors include; her children (and spouses), Gregory (Renea) Schmidt, Andalusia, Peggy (Randy) Lashbrook, Milan and Brian (Lorrie) Schmidt, Reynolds; and five grandchildren, Brittany, Kasey, Torry, Jayne, and Maegan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Marilyn Minch.
