FISCHER, Joan M. 85, died of a heart attack on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born in St. Henry, Ohio on October 12, 1931 to Joe and Francis Wuebker. She resided in Dayton, Ohio and moved to The Gables in Marysville, Ohio. For a number of years, she was a snow bird residing at Bay Lake Estates in Nokomis, Florida. She is preceded in death by her first husband Sylvester Knapschaefer, second husband John Fischer, along with her sisters Dorothy Kerber, Janis Wuebker, an infant sister Irene and her brother Wilford Wuebker. She is survived by her sisters Margie Hausefield, Betty Ann Gareke (Charlie), and her brother Harold Wuebker. She is also survived by her five children Kay (Dave) Leitenberger, of Mansfield, Ohio, Lisa Knpaschaefer, of Oak Hills, Texas, Rick (Carolyn) Knapschaefer, of Tipton, Michigan, Mary (Brian) Dunlevy, of Haslet, Texas, Ann (JR) Rausch, of Marysville, Ohio; three step children Sharon Fischer, of Fort Myers, Florida, Carolyn Fischer, of Dayton, Ohio, and John (Amy) Fischer, of Marimont, Ohio; her grandchildren Nick Knapschaefer, Ryan (Chelsey) Dunlevy, Kristina (Kyle) Clark, Ashley (Ryan) Plymale, Candace (Trey) Riley, Sarah Leitenberger, and Emily Rausch; and 6 great grandsons. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Milton Athletic Club, playing cards and drinking beer, going gambling with her friends and sister. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 2, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 11:30 A.M. A celebration of her life will follow at Benny's Pizza, 968 Columbus Avenue, Marysville, Ohio.
