Mary Ann Williams was born in Dartmouth in Devon (aka Devonshire), England.

On her death certificate the info about her parents is as follows:
Father: Thomas Alexander Williams, born in England.
Mother: Hepsibah MacMaughton

Mary Ann arrived in the U.S. at age 20 around 1873.

She married her first husband Aaaron E. Gunn in 1875 in Illinois, his home state. The couple had seven children.
Mary Ann was widowed in 1890.

She married her second husband Henry G. Wiegand, an immigrant from Alsace, Germany, in 1892. They had three children.

The couple spent almost two decades in California where they settled in Long Beach.

Henry died in 1936 of a heart attack.

Mary Ann died from cervical cancer the following year. She was also senile at the time of her death according to the death certificate.

Henry and Mary Ann were both buried in Compton (city next to Long Beach.)
