Louella Gale Robbins (Johnson), 78, passed away in her sleep at Kaiser Hospital, Sacramento, California 14 Apr, 2019. Gale was born 29 Jan 1941 in El Monte, Los Angeles, California to Harry Junior Johnson (1918-2014) and Barbara Ellen Nicholson (Johnson) (McGulpin) (1922-1990). In December of 2018, unbeknownst to Gale or her family, Gale had what the Doctors later called a "silent heart attack". Gale fearlessly endured the lingering effects until the very end. Mom was always concerned about and took care of others, even complete strangers. She loved animal's and always had some
sort of a pet or pets her entire life. She loved her family very deeply and would do anything for them. She gave her life to Christ and was a devout follower of Jesus Christ sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to anyone and everyone she could. After graduating High School, she met her future husband, Donald Raymond Robbins on a blind date, they fell in love, soon married and started their family. Gale was the driving force for all things in the family and decided that living in the big city was not a good place to raise a family and decided that the family was going to move to the country, and so the family sold their home in Sacramento and moved to Wilton on 5 acers of land in 1973 with a small bumper pull trailer and a canvas tent, a reluctant husband and two young children in tow. At that time, nobody in the family knew where Wilton was. She worked several part time jobs to raise extra money so she could attend school and pursue her dream to be come a Licensed Registered Nurse. She worked part time at Elk Grove Convalescent Hospital as a Nurse's Aid, "Candy Striper", taking care of the elderly patients and sharing her love for Jesus. Gale attended night school and graduated in 1975 as a Registered Nurse. Gale retired in 2002 after a very successful Nursing career. Gale will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Gale is survived by her sister, Sandra "Sandy" Jeanne McGinn (Rohr) (Johnson), her loving husband of 59 years Don Robbins, children: Louella Dawn Robbins, Donald William Robbins, and wife Kim Hyunju, grandchildren: William Davell Robbins, Wynona Gale Robbins, Gyungseuk (Matt) Go and great-grandchildren: Alexander William Robbins, Emilia Jane Robbins. She was preceded in death by her beloved still-born son, her beautiful sister Lois Lorraine MaGuire (Johnson) (1947-2007), her parents and numerous adored pets/critters. All who met her loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace, smile, laugh and undying love and caring for them.
Gale was cremated per her wishes and her ashes are in the care of her family.
