Hazel Keeling was the perfect example of the Proverbs 31 woman. There is no better description than verses 25 and 26. "She is clothed in dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks her words are wise and she gives instructions with kindness." She had a servant's heart for her husband, family, church, and community. Hazel was strong in her faith and was always a witness for Christ in how she lived her life. One of the things she was most proud of was being the oldest living member of First Baptist Church, Mt. Enterprise and enjoyed serving the Lord alongside her special friends in her Sunday School class. She was beautiful inside and out, and always reminded us girls to wear our lipstick. Nana never let Papaw's milk glass get empty and his lunchbox was always full. She was his perfect partner in life and always kept things running in their business and at home. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Ms. Hazel Keeling, 93, of Mount Enterprise, passed away April 16, 2019, at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. She was born December 7, 1925 to A.F. and Roxie Conner Willeford, in Rockwall, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Austin Leonard Keeling Jr. "A.L."; son, Austin Leonard Keeling III, "Leonard"; grandson, Judd Pool; and great-grandson, Elijah Kelly. A.L. and Hazel were married on November 21, 1942 and had three children.
