AUGUST 31, 1935 – FEBRUARY 16, 2013

Sylvia Dugger Howell, 77, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Private entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Dan Darden will officiate. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Serenity Place Hospice, 504 Parker Dairy Road, Dublin, GA 31021 or to the donor’s favorite charity.

Mrs. Howell was born in Vidalia, Georgia the daughter of the late Evelyn Mason Dugger and Ferrell Brooks Dugger. She went to Miller High School then moved to Thomasville, Georgia where she graduated from Thomasville High. She was a homemaker and a member of Shepherd’s Chapel in Arkansas. Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by a sister, Ferrelyn Dugger.

Mrs. Howell is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; two sons; brother and sister-in-law; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
