Johnny Wayne Reed, age 61 of the Bethesda Community passed away January 15, 2018. Johnny always had a smile on his face, he was a hugger and never met a stranger. He played music through the years with the Reed Brothers Band and Reed Hollow Band. Johnny loved his many pets, farm animals and he loved Alabama Football. He was a retired Mechanic with Yellow Freight.

Survived by his wife of 43 years, Melodie Williams Reed; parents, William and Beulah Reed; son, Jeremy (Emily) Reed; daughter, Angie (Chris) Pratt; brothers, Frank Reed, Jeff Reed, Paul Reed and Raymond Reed; sister, Gertrude (Jimmy) Adcock; grandchildren, Jackson, Mackenzie, Bayleigh, Clayton and Riley; mother and father in-law, Nancy and Hollis Williams; sister in-law, Derri (Terry) Adkison; brother in-law, Tony Williams and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Gary Fewell officiating.
