Mrs. Oren was born in Mount Vernon, Mo. She graduated from Chillicothe High School and attended Stephens College in Columbia. Mrs. Oren lived all her married life in Trenton, moving to Blanco in 1988. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, both in Trenton. In 1923, she married Rex A. Oren. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Survivors include a son, Robert, of Blanco, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bill, two brothers and two sisters.
