Eldest daughter of Andrew Jackson and Rosa Adelle White Martin, Mary Elizabeth would marry William Frazier Frost, Sr., a merchant, in Memphis in 1898. They would have two sons: Walker Edward "Jack", and William Frazier Frost, Jr. Unfortunately, Mary Elizabeth's husband was prone to kidney problems and he died at a fairly young age in 1919. She would not remarry. For a number of years she lived in Florence, Alabama near her youngest son, William, and family but moved back to the Memphis area to finish out her life.
