Otta Mae Mefford, 74, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA
She was of the Christian Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Mefford; her daughter, Angela Beth Mefford; parents, Garney Ramey and Bealie Collins Ramey; two brothers, Coy Ramey and Quincy Ramey; and two sisters, Dorothy Brickey and Phyllis Kerns.
Surviving are a son, Isacc John Fields Jr; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Donnie Ray Ramey and wife Loice and Paul Ramey and wife Audrey; a sister, Debbie Sergent and husband Marty; special niece and caregiver, Selena Ramey; and several other nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Otta Mae Mefford will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor James Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery Norton, VA.
