Teri Ruth Holland, 48, of Topsy, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Lake Charles. Her visitation will be Wednesday, April 17, from 10am until time of service at The Family Place Church in Reeves. Her funeral service will be Wednesday, April 17, at 3pm at The Family Place Church. Interment will be at Creel Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Chaz Estes will officiate.

Teri is survived by her husband, Sheldon K. Holland of Topsy; three children, Kendra South & Tyler of Longville, Kreston Holland of Topsy, and Kyle Holland of Topsy; five grandchildren, Lily Holland, Allen Holland, Dixie South, Kennedy South, and Audrey South; parents, Doug & Carol Reeves of Reeves; three siblings, Josh Reeves & Amy of Sulphur, DeeDee Parker of Reeves, and John Reeves of Gillis; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jack & Iola Skinner; paternal grandmother, Edith Reeves; aunt, Wanda Murphy; and uncle, Mike Reeves.

Teri married her childhood crush, Sheldon. She fell for him at the young age of ten. They married years later on May 15 and started a family soon after. They had their first baby, a daughter named Kendra Eileen, on January 4, 1989. Four years later they welcomed their first son, Kreston Paul. Four years after that, they completed their family with the birth of their second son, who was a momma’s boy, Kyle Joshua. Teri was blessed with five beautiful grandchildren. She was a proud grandmother who went by “Ma-Ma”. She loved her grandbabies and spoiled them every chance she got. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, Ma-Ma and best friend. She will be missed beyond measure.
