Born October 17, 1942 in Austin, IN, she was the daughter of Stanton Hardy and Evelyn (Graves) Hardy, who are both deceased.
Karen was a 1960 Austin High School graduate. On December 19, 1959 at Austin Christian Church she married Dalton "Leon" Watts, who survives in Scottsburg, IN.
Karen was a member of Paynesville Christian Church, a former employee of Morgan Foods, and had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her Bichon, Teddy.
Other survivors include, 1 son and daughter in law, Mark Leon (Diana) Watts of Jacksonville, FL, 2 grandchildren, Adam Watts and Elizabeth Watts, both of Jacksonville, FL.
Private services will be conducted at Bethel Cemetery in Chelsea, IN
