Ms Jessie Jamieson passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years. When she was just a few months old, her mother passed away, leaving her grandparents to take on the role of raising their beloved granddaughter; Jessie's many aunts and uncles, Joseph "Ben", Arnold "Gig", Ida, Florence, Stewart, Frank, Irene and Grace, became her siblings. Jessie grew up to become a nurse, working in Rochester, New York and Niagara Falls. She also worked in private care. During WWII, she was a Private and a member of the Canadian Women's Army Corps (CWAC).
Jessie was the cherished mother of Wray (Kaela) and Sandra. She will be deeply missed by her three grandchildren. Jessie will always be lovingly remembered by many nephews, nieces, extended family and dear friends in Canada and the United States.
She was predeceased by her parents Jacob Jacobs and Ruth Violet Maracle, grandparents Peter and Mary (née Martin) Maracle, children Sydney Anderson Jr., Amelia Maracle, Alva Maracle and by her granddaughter Nikki Kick.
