Death certificate states birth as 15 Mar 1854 in Texas. I do not believe place of birth is right since he was not listed in Texas until the 1870 census. I have not been able to substantiate the 1854 date and have listed the birth date which has been used by family members. Informant listed on the death certificate is William Boydstun, grandson of William Sylvester Stillwell. - This is not correct. He is listed as 5 yrs old on the 1860 Cole Township, Sebastian County, Arkansas census. Recorded July 11, 1860. Since his birthday was Feb 5 and he is listed as 5 on the July census; that means he was born in 1855.
