Henry Dexter Roberts, age 63, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019.
Henry Dexter was born in Loris, a son of the late James B. Roberts, Sr., and the late Alice Skipper Roberts. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Henry Dexter loved working in his shop, gardening, motorcycles, and driving his truck. He is predeceased by one brother, Buddy "Ox" Roberts and one brother-in-law, Chip Jacobs.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Gore Roberts of Loris; one daughter, Lisa Hickman Lamb (Chris) of North Carolina; one grandson, Christopher Lamb of North Carolina; two sisters, Mary Roberts Smith (Terry), and Patricia Roberts Jacobs all of Loris; two nephews, Tab Jacobs (Shanna) of Loris, and Chris Watts (Erin) of North Carolina; one niece, Jamie Roberts Davis of Bladenboro, North Carolina; six great-nephews, Bentley Jacobs, Brantley Jacobs, Grayson Jacobs, and Evan Strickland all of Loris and Bailey Watts and Brayden Watts both of North Carolina; and two great-nieces, Madyson Jacobs of Loris and Ashlyn Watts of North Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Roberts Family Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tommy Shelley officiating.
